a post on random things in my day

It was only 10am in the morning. Who wakes up so early on a Sunday morning!? No, it wasn't the multiple blasting phone calls that woke me up (though they were really irritating!), but it was Yeo Si Rui. How could she?! I was having sweet dreams that I could finally remember.. If you didn't know who Y.S.R is, look at the photo below.



Yeah. That's her.


After much rolling around on the bed, kicking, fighting with each other, it came to an end when I saw a moving thing by the corner of my eye. It was huge! Look at this.



YOU SEE THAT? It's a huge greenish brown ant with large dangerous jaws! I have no idea why it's crawling on my window, alone. It sets me thinking.. is there a nest of these creepy crawlies somewhere near my house? AHHHH!!


I just had my desserts.. literally. :) Ice Kachang lavished with brown sweet sugar sauce topped with a generous portion of sweet corn and durian puree.. awesome!


Have you ever felt cheated such that you buy something and it turns out to be something else? Okay, not that I bought this so-called 'Chilli Cuttlefish' (my dad bought it), but it's a cheat!



Ingredients list: Cuttlefish, Chilli, Sugar, Salt, Sauce Acid.
I think there should be a drastic change to the ingredients list:
New Ingredients list: Cuttlefish, Sugar, Sugar, Sugar, Salt, Sauce Acid.
You see the obvious edit? :S


Yesterday Joy passed me my favourite flower. For a moment I thought she was kidding, but No! It was really meant for me. hehehe. Jes had one too! And was told after that that it's not from Joy, but Ahbe! Thank you Ahbe! :) It's pretty!




I think my new maid is cool! :) Her name is Vivi. Imagine.. You are a new maid, new to Singapore's culture, new to the family, new to almost everything revolving around you. You are cleaning the windows. You saw someone from the opposite block throwing newspapers down. What would you do?

Guess what. She scolded him.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I'm so amazed and amused by what she did.. aren't you?


And lastly, I've got such an adorable and hunky DAD! :D



My parents, I and Vivi went for dinner at the coffeeshop nearby our house just now. You know those aunties wearing beer-promotion-clothings? Yea, one of them came up to our table, stood near my dad, and asked what we wanted. My mum asked for LuoHan drink, Vivi asked for Coke, me none, and my Dad asked for coffee with sugar. That woman got even closer to my dad, said get Kopi Lasi, something like that. I do not understand.. but she kept repeating herself and that my dad should get that. What's she doing.. All of us laughed!

After awhile, she came back with the drinks. At this point of time, my mum isn't around. While removing the drinks from the tray, my dad asked how much was the total cost. She kept quiet. My dad and I stared at her. She stood there for some 10 seconds, not saying anything.

"What is she thinking?!" I thought to myself, disturbed by why-is-she-standing-so-close-to-my-dad-please-go-away.

"This one more expensive, $1.60. Coke is $1.30. Yours is 70cents,"said the woman. And, she stopped there. Hoho. I never knew the customer had to calculate the final price himself. Well, my dad was very nice to calculate everything and pass her the money.

That's not it. She concluded with this, "After drinking this, you tonight don't have to sleep..." Giggles giggles giggles.. oh my. I'm inferring stuff which I never knew someone so bold to say such things in front of a man's kids/wife/whoever. HAHAHA!!
