AMAZED!!

I am extremely, conspicuously, exceedingly amazed at how God works and blesses his people in ways and times we could never expect. Just within a day, I've experienced/ heard of two blessings/ miracles God has done amongst His people!

How Great is our God, sing with me how Great is our God, and all will sing how Great, how Great is our God!

ChengLee's awesome CLs were so privileged to be able to savour her splendid cooking yesterday at Turkey's (DeniseLeong) house. We finally had our long awaited dish, Creamy Carbonara Ribbon Pasta with freshly baked tender bacon slices topped with lush spread of melted mozarella cheese, superbly prepared for each and everyone of us. YUMMY!

While all looks good and almost-perfect, something in between all these occurred, which left Turkey kinda 'flustered'... *CHING!* The bacon slices are ready to be removed from the oven! K, rewind abit. This oven costs Turkey's sister over a 100bucks, is being used the second time, without permission. Ah yes, the bacon slices are ready to be removed from the oven! *CHI-CHIK* "Chenglee! The oven couldn't be opened!"I shouted. Okay, moment of horror, the oven REALLY couldn't be fully opened, it was stuck! After a long time of inspection, Turkey and Cheng tried to 'pry open' and 'repair' the faulty screw but to no avail.. Man.. All these while, we prayed for God's miracle to happen somehow sometime soon. Till the night, it was still stuck.

So we carried on with whatever else that we wanted to do. OH!! Only at twelve did we watch our first and last movie, that is, The Pursuit of Happyness! Well, it's not even one of the 4movies that we rented.. HAHA! By the time we realised that we could watch VCDs on the computer, it was late.. How stupid.. Thank God, the movie was good:) It tells us how persistent we got to be, and there was this background song about 'Jesus loves you' kinda thing, plus a scene of people praising and worshipping God. I believe it's somewhat a Christian-based movie.. :)

Back to oven-story. Yeah, so the problem wasn't solved throughout the entire night. In the morning, I literally forgot about the whole matter till I walked across the kitchen floor. Suddenly, the oven caught my eye. I walked towards it, stretched out my hands, and prayed, "God! Please open the oven, Amen!" TAAADAAA!! IT SWUNG DOWN AS SMOOTH AS ...SILK? Wow!! Immediately I shouted out for Denise, asking if she repaired the oven door, and she didn't. It must be God. God healed the oven! Hahaahha :D Denise was also going gagagaga over this whole miraculous blessing.. She's been praying all night, and true enough, God works in the midst of faith! Hallelujah!

Just about 30 minutes ago, I received a bad-news call from Ball(YEOSirui).
Ball: Eh Florence, did you take a plastic bag home ah? Inside got clothes one.
Prettyme: No why?
Ball: Did Joy take it?
Prettyme: No she didn't also. Take for what, why?
Ball: Huh... I think I lost jeslin's thing. Inside got your sister's blazer, she say it costs 100plus.. how?
Prettyme: Huh? Where did you last put it... (etc)
Ball: I very scared, jeslin looks angry..
Prettyme: I think you all should gather and PRAY, then go all the info counters.. tell me again when you're done.
*KIAP*

And I prayed.

My goodness, can you imagine the tension.. Again, the blazer wasn't taken by permission, and the cost was about 100bucks as well! So coincidental..

15 minutes later, I've got a call from Ball again.
Prettyme: Hello?
Ball: Hello, Florence! I very happy!
Prettyme: You found the blazer?!
Ball: HAHAHAHAH.. I wanted to leave already, then in the lift I was praying to God to help me find the blazer, then I went to ask the info counters, and they ask me to go to a 'coldroom' (??).. I walk walk walk still cannot find, then some people told me its at the basement carpark there.
Prettyme: Uhuh?
Ball: Then the security guard asked me what I lost, then he ask if its a blazer. Then I say yeah. Then he smile and took it out! Somemore its in a nice plastic bag, got ribbon somemore!

WHOAWHOA! Don't you think God is SO cool and faithful?!
