three firsts

Yesterday night was my first time running alone at night. It was 9plus by the time I reached home after meeting Yingying, and I thought to myself, "Aiyah, it's so late already, maybe I shouldn't go running, the sky's weird, it may rain anytime, don't go anywhere la." Yet, there was another voice persuading me, "You said so many times you want to run, just go la. You need to keep fit!" I hesitated for 10 minutes before deciding to just go ahead with the run. It felt so weird, without my sister beside, it was more tiring than I thought (partly because I pushed myself to run at a faster speed than normal cos it started to drizzle).. but the main reason I believed was due to lack of companionship.. Suddenly, I was reminded of the people in church and God Himself, whoa, thank God that God gave us each other to encourage and push one another forward in this marathon.. It's never going to be easy running it alone :)

I spent my first time at the Botanic Gardens with Melissa and Jelynn :) Really thank God for Melissa, otherwise I wouldn't be able to handle Jelynn all by myself, especially when I had to carry a netball on one hand. Hahaha.. Melissa was sharing to me that she was actually praying to God whether or not she should go with me this morning, and she was prompted to just come for it despite her tiredness.. OOO! God is cool, He sent my sis to fetch me and Mel there, and back too!

Today was the first EA1A caregroup too!:) Supposedly, we're to go to Pasir Ris Park, but YingYing messaged me suggesting they we go her house instead. Wow, think it's really a great blessing.. cos we were kept safe from the unpredictable weather. Another blessing is that Evelyn could make it in the end cos her computer suddenly died, so she can't do her artwork at home :)

the two 'zilians' in the cg! tsk, they took their photos in my phone while i was sleeping. hahaha.. what more, minyi drew a big red mole on my left arm. how sweet is she?!
